The apartment can be cleaned on request for an additional cost. The use of the laundry area is an additional cost and is done by our maid. As we are a business, we charge and pay the local 19% sales tax here in Colombia. If you want to avoid paying the tax you will need to present your passport when you arrive so that we can make a copy of the ID page and the entry stamp. This proves you are a tourist, and exempt from the tax. Your concierge will ask to take a photo of these pages at check-in. Check in can be scheduled between 4 pm and 8 pm with no extra charge. After 8 pm and anytime on Sundays and Colombian official holidays, there is a check in fee of 15 USD.
If you’re one of those people that likes to be a little different and seek out a ‘real’ Medellin experience, but still want the same easy access to great bars, cafes and restaurants of the more touristy areas, this is the place for you. Jardines is a still little known gem of a enclave in Envigado, just a short cab ride from its more famous neighbor, Poblado where the majority of tourists stay. It’s one of those places that you’ll visit once, and never want to leave and you’ll be grinning to yourself that you know something cool that no one else has experienced. You'll just be a couple of blocks from the main avenue (Avenida Poblado) where there are frequent buses and/or taxis. The nearest Metro station called Ayurá is around 4-5 blocks away so transport options are excellent.
